Classic City Homes was founded in 1985 by Byron Wetherholt. After graduating college and subsequent work at Howard S. Wright and Arco construction in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, Byron decided to start a small home building company. Wetherholt’s background in construction is extensive but in real estate Byron has found location is truly the key to any enduring real estate investment. The first home he built was located on a tree lined street in the popular Green Lake Neighborhood. That house is still the excellent home buying investment today that it was when it was sold new – thirty plus years ago.
